Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective from July 2025

At Overseas Holiday Tours India, we value transparency and customer trust. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines our terms for tour packages, flights, hotel bookings, transportation services, activities, and visa assistance. All policies are compliant with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and apply to bookings confirmed on or after July 3rd, 2025.

🕒General Cancellation Terms

Cancellation before 72 hours of trip start date: 75% of the advance amount will be refunded.
Cancellation before 48 hours: 50% of the advance amount will be refunded.
Cancellation within 48 hours: No refund will be issued.

💰Refund Timeline

For eligible cancellations, refunds will be processed within 90 working days from the cancellation date or after confirmation from our supplier/partner, whichever is later.
For cancellations during the trip, the refund period starts from the date of return or the supplier’s confirmation, whichever comes later.

Note: Refund amounts are subject to changes in international currency exchange rates, supplier policies, and the amount paid by the customer up to that point.

✈️Flight Bookings

Non-Refundable Flights: Marked on your travel voucher; not eligible for refund.
Refundable Flights: Refunds processed as per the cancellation terms in your final itinerary.
Refund amounts may vary based on currency fluctuations.

Important Flight Notes:

Flight delays, cancellations, or schedule changes are subject to the airline’s policies. Claims must be raised directly with the airline.
No refund will be provided if boarding is denied due to passport issues.
Passengers must report to the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure.
Missed flights due to late arrival (if airport transfers are not booked with us) will not be refunded.
Budget airlines (e.g. Ryanair, Vueling, Volotea) may require online check-in. Non-compliance can result in extra charges, which are not covered by us.
In-flight meal requests are subject to airline availability and not guaranteed.

🏨Hotel Bookings

Non-Refundable Hotels: No refund will be provided.
Refundable Hotels: Refund terms will match the hotel’s cancellation policy shared in your itinerary.
All refund values are subject to exchange rate variations.

Hotel Policy Notes:

We ensure quality accommodation but are not responsible for hotel staff behavior or service standards.
Upgrades or services requested during the stay must be paid for by the customer directly.
Any hotel change or cancellation mid-trip will result in 100% cancellation charges.
Early check-in/late check-out requests are based on availability. Refunds are not issued for unavailability.

🎟️Activities & Experiences

Non-Refundable Activities: No refund applicable.
Refundable Activities: Terms and timelines are specified in your final travel documents.

Note: Refund values may vary due to foreign exchange rate changes.

🛂Visa & Travel Insurance

Visa support is facilitated only, and final decisions are made by the respective embassy or consulate.
Visa application fees are non-refundable, even if rejected.
We are not liable for sudden changes in visa regulations.
Travel insurance is non-refundable and incurs 100% cancellation charges once applied for.

🚗Transportation Services

Transfers booked through us (e.g., airport pick-up/drop, sightseeing) follow the cancellation policy provided in your final itinerary.
Refund amounts may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations.

🔒Important Notes on Refunds

Refunds are initiated only after we receive the necessary approvals from our partners (airlines, hotels, suppliers).
Overseas Holiday Tours India cannot be held responsible for service disruptions caused by third-party providers.
Refunds are not applicable for no-shows, late arrivals, or denied entries due to personal travel document issues.
